This notice explains how Truck Gear uses information in connection with TruckGearOK.com and inquiries for its Edmond and Shawnee stores. In this notice, “we,” “our,” and “us” mean Truck Gear. Truck Gear is responsible for its business services and the purposes for which customer inquiry information is used. David Jacob LLC maintains the website and provides marketing support, including handling website inquiry data on Truck Gear’s instructions. These roles do not remove either party’s responsibilities under applicable law.
Information collected and why
When you request a quote, we collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred store, vehicle year, make and model, selected services, and project details. We use this information to respond to your request, evaluate product fit and installation needs, and communicate about requested work. Please do not include payment card numbers, identification documents, passwords, or other sensitive information in the form.
Website delivery and connected services receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and request times. We use HubSpot to receive and manage quote inquiries and Vercel to host the website. David Jacob LLC supports website and marketing operations on our behalf. Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics are optional measurement services. Adobe delivers the website’s fonts, and location pages include Google Maps, which receives information from your browser when an embedded map loads. We may also disclose information where needed to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and security, or carry out a business transfer subject to applicable protections.
These services receive information needed for their functions; providers’ own notices describe their processing. See HubSpot, Vercel, Google, and Adobe. Links to independent websites have their own policies. Using providers does not remove our obligations for information handled on our behalf.
Analytics, cookies, and browser choices
Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics load to measure page visits unless a saved opt-out or recognized browser privacy signal disables them. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies; Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies. Existing choices in browser storage and preference cookies remain in effect. A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal recognized by this website keeps optional analytics off. Browser tracking protections and Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on can also limit measurement. Clearing this site’s stored data removes saved preferences and does not by itself opt you out. These browser choices do not stop information needed to deliver the website, receive a quote, load fonts, or display third-party maps.
Quote follow-up and marketing
The quote form records your permission to contact you about that request, together with the disclosure version and submission time. That permission does not enroll you in unrelated promotional marketing. You can tell the responding store if you prefer a particular contact method or no further follow-up. Use the unsubscribe method in any promotional email you receive to stop those emails.
Retention and protection
Retention depends on the purpose of the record, whether an inquiry becomes a customer relationship, applicable warranty, tax and recordkeeping obligations, and the need to resolve disputes or protect security. You do not need to submit a vehicle quote or provide vehicle details to make a privacy request. Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless a secure method is specifically arranged.
Children and changes
This website is intended for people seeking vehicle products and services, and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact a store so the issue can be addressed. Updates to this notice will be posted here with a revised date.
